Congratulations to three of our graduate students, Zach England, Madeline Winans, and Brittany Fischer, for being selected to present their Master's research at the 57th Annual Conference of the Animal Behavior Society which took place July 28-31, 2020.
Originally to be held in Tenessee, the decision to transition the conference to a virtual format was decided earlier this year. Each student submitted a 6-minute, pre-recorded presentation of their research and attended a live Q&A session with other attendees at the conference. The conference included opportunities to attend pre-recorded and live sessions, mentor meetings and happy hours with topics including conservation, animal cognition, applied animal behavior, communication, and many more. We want to say a special thank you to the Animal Behavior Society for organizing a great conference and providing the opportunity for our students to present their research virtually!
