CHAIRE/Wilds Pseudo In-Situ Conservation Short Course

In partnership with the Wilds, CHAIRE offers an annual course the first weekend of Autumn semester, with the goal of providing attendees the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the field of conservation. The course includes a combination of presentations by OSU faculty and Wilds staff, hands-on learning activities, and an overnight "bushcamp" experience at the Wilds. The course is slightly different each year, with the option for attendees to take course multiple years and have a new experience each time. There is a fee for the course, which helps support the costs associated with the course and the Wilds conservation mission. Information about registration and each year's agenda will be made available in late spring each year.
