At Wendy’s, Shawn is responsible for quality, food safety and regulatory nutrition of food and beverage supply. He also manages the Wendy’s Animal Welfare Program and coordinates the Animal Welfare Council.
Prior to Wendy’s, Shawn was Food Safety Manager at Farmland Foods. He received his Food Business Management degree from The Ohio State University and has worked in the food industry for 27 years in various facets of quality assurance, production and animal welfare.
Shawn grew up on an 8th generation pig and grain farm in northwest Ohio where his family continues to farm today.
